Technical Information
A mild steel zinc plated bracket designed for TENSILE push-pull loads only in temporary works constructions. The tie can be inserted & extracted through the mortar joint to allow easy assembly & disassembly of scaffolding in both new build and existing properties with a cavity wall. The tie is inserted & rotated through 90 degrees to locate on the back of the brick or block and is secured using a “hook” type scaffold coupler. Rotation is then restricted further by connection to the scaffold itself. There are currently 3 sizes in the range, 100mm/ 140mm/ 200mm – for different applications of brick, block and stonework. Quality Assurance
The brackets are batch tested and MPI inspected to ensure consistent quality. The maximum allowable tensile load of the bracket is 10kN. The weld strength has been tested to 25kN without destruction.
NB – Recommended loads are limited by suitability of base material and structure.
