Threaded Bar & Connector
Our range of threaded bars and threaded bar connectors provides strong, dependable solutions for a wide variety of construction and scaffolding needs. Whether you’re putting together a scaffold tie system, installing mechanical fixings, or carrying out general building work, these products offer a simple, versatile and cost-effective way to create secure connections.
Threaded Bars
Threaded bar, often known as studding, is a fully threaded rod that can be used in countless applications where a precise or extended fixing is required. Many customers use it when assembling scaffold ties, installing chemical anchors, or creating suspended support systems for pipework, ducting or cable trays. Because it is threaded along its entire length, it can be cut to the exact size you need, making it easy to adapt on site or order pre-cut from us if you prefer a more accurate, ready-to-use solution.
We supply threaded bar in various diameters, from smaller M8 and M10 sizes through to heavier-duty options such as M12 and M16. You can choose from zinc-plated steel for everyday use or stainless-steel grades for harsher, more exposed environments. For projects that require higher load capacity, high-tensile bar is also available. Whatever the job, we aim to provide threaded bars that are reliable, consistent and manufactured to a quality that installers can trust.
Threaded Bar Connectors
Threaded bar connectors, sometimes called studding connectors or couplers, are used to join two lengths of threaded bar securely. They are especially useful when you need to extend a scaffold tie, create a longer rod for an anchor system, or simply link two sections of bar where a full-length stud wouldn’t be practical. Each connector is engineered to provide a tight and stable joint, helping ensure the strength and performance of the overall fixing.
Our connectors come in stainless steel and zinc-plated steel, just like the bars themselves, so you can match the connector to the bar and the environment it will be used in. When properly connected, they produce a continuous, sturdy length of studding that can be used in a variety of mechanical and structural applications.
