Technical Information
This device is designed to fit on the end of a standard scaffold tube to create a butt tube tie or stop end when used with tie bars. It comprises of two 6mm thick mild steel washers welded back-to-back. The larger external washer is positioned outside of the tube and the smaller trilobular washer locates inside the tube. The internal lipped section centres the threaded bar through the scaffold tube (this will enable adjustability in length of the tie). The 17mm internal hole diameter is designed to allow bars up to M16 diameter to pass through.

Load Capacity
The maximum allowable TENSILE load on the washer is 15.0kN
The maximum allowable SHEAR load on the washer is 15.0kN
The load capability of this product is limited by material strength and the weld integrity.

Steel and Weld Capability
The product has been load tested to a minimum yield load of 30kN
